Villa Bayuh Sabbha is an exclusive private estate, a
6-bedroom retreat, comprised of nine separate buildings, with
sleeping accommodation for up to fifteen persons.
Situated on the Bukit Peninsula, fifty meters above sea
level on the cliffs that overhang Bingin beach, the property
commands heart-stopping, spectacular views of the ocean and
the southern regions of Bali. On a clear day, the awesome
vista takes in all of the volcanoes from Mt. Agung in the east,
to Mt. Bromo in Java.
The property was designed by acclaimed architect Glenn
Parker, and the gardens created by the famous landscape
architect Made Wijaya.
Complemented by flat green lawns,
courtyards, terraces and a serene water garden, and lovingly
furnished by its Jakarta-based owners, the villa is composed
of a series of pavilions.
This style is based on the concept of the traditional
Balinese family compound with a separate building or ‘balé’
for each function, and a license to amend the purpose of each
in accordance with the comforts of modern living.
The estate
also boasts a fitness centre, a children's playground, two
swimming pools and a large tennis court.
